Breaking News
despite, i am a part of the PR Industry, i feel very sntrongly to write on the media matters. When i was just out of the college, i had big dreams of making it big in the world of media. As soon as i came to know about the reality, every dream was just shatterd. Now, as i am heading a communications company somtime i find it very difficult to do the things i never want to do. I will not go in the details but.
Lets talk about breaking news which is breaking the norms of the news all the time. After all, i dont know what is breaking news these days. Rakhi Sawant dil has been broken by his boyfriend and this was breaking news on most of the channels showing her tears. Not only this, his boyfriend went to chat up with her with the whole media taking it as an PR opportunity. and what about the media. Ok, i can understand that Rakhi is publicity hungry and all these news channels have made her a celebrity but do you people think that she is worth the coverage she is getting these days. All this drama is being done to gain TRPs but i doubt that these gimmicks are creating any TRP for the channels as the viewers are not really interested in these dramas. When i switch to news channels i am looking for serious news only. Here all these copy cat channels have started showing comedy circus. The name is realy very apt as it seems that all the judges and participants are a part of jungle laughing without any valid reason be it Sidhu and Archana Puran singh. News channels are facing the lack of quality programming. It is not easy to run a 24 hours channel as it needs a great deal of programming.But news channels have found out a new way of filling these significant hours with the free programming but it is news. No way.
